Geely Auto is the primary car marque of Chinese group Geely. Listed as Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd. on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and controlled through holdings in Zhejiang Geely Holding Group, Geely Auto is ZGH’s mainstream brand primarily sold in China and select overseas markets. Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd (吉利汽车; Jílì Qìchē) (SEHK: 175), a subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.

 

LEVC

LEVC. London Electric Vehicle Company is a British automotive electric vehicle manufacturer with its headquarters at Ansty near Coventry, England, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chinese automaker Geely. Formerly known as The London Taxi Corporation Ltd. It was founded in 1899 and its principal activity is the design, development and manufactures London black taxicabs for the UK market at its manufacturing site in Coventry and in Shanghai for sale in the rest of the world. It retails and provides maintenance services for taxis in major cities globally.

 

LYNK & CO

LYNK & CO is the new global car brand addressing the needs and preferences of a global connected generation and challenging car industry conventions. Its products are designed and engineered in Sweden and will be sold globally, starting with the 01 in China in 2017 followed by Europe and the U.S. LYNK & CO is a brand from Geely Auto Group.

 

Lotus Group

Lotus Group is made up of a high-performance sports car business, Lotus Cars, and an all-electric luxury mobility provider, Lotus Technology is the technology, sales and marketing division of Lotus brand. Heading the electrification wave among all global luxury automakers, Lotus Tech is the first traditional luxury auto brand expected to achieve 100% BEV production by 2027.  Lotus Cars has been a part of Geely sense June 2017.

 

Smart Automobile Co., Ltd.

In 2019, Daimler announced the establishment of a joint venture partnership with Chinese automaker Geely. The deal involves a new production plant to be built in China, which will start production on a new generation of Smart-branded vehicles. Until April 2019, Smart operated under the Mercedes-Benz Cars division of Daimler AG, offering the Fortwo coupé, Fortwo convertible and Forfour hatchback. These have now been discontinued. Volvo Cars

Volvo Cars sells premium-segment car models in a variety of segments: sedans, versatile estates wagons and SUVs . Volvo cars are marketed and sold by regional market companies and national sales companies through approximately 2,300 local dealers in over 100 countries. Most of the dealerships are independent companies. As of December 2020, Volvo Cars had around 40,000 full-time employees around the globe.  Volvo Car Group (Volvo Cars) is owned by Zhejiang Geely Holding of China. Volvo Cars formed part of the Swedish Volvo Group until 1999, when the company was bought by Ford Motor Company. In 2010, Volvo Cars was acquired by Geely Holding. Founded in 1986, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group (here in after referred to as “Geely”) began to specialize in the automobile industry in1997. Geely quickly focused on the industry, technological innovation, and personnel training over the past years. With total assets of more than RMB 100 billion, Geely is one of the China’s top500 companies for ten consecutive years, ranks in the top 10 automobile manufacturers for eight consecutive years. In addition, it is recognized as the “Innovative Enterprise of China” and “Complete Vehicle Export Base of China”. The total operating revenue of Geely has reached USD 23.3557billion (approx. As a result, we came out on top in the survey of customer satisfaction to after-sales service made by J.D. Power. We have taken the lead in setting up the SAP-based ERP management system and after-sales service information system, so that we can make prompt response to customer demands and quickly process the market information. Furthermore, we pioneered the development of a new online automobile marketing channel and are the first automobile manufacturer engaged in B2B and B2C e-business. By the end of 2012,Geely has had a car parc of 2.7 million and recognized as a famous Chinese brand.

Geely has set up Geely Automobile Technology Center and Geely Automobile Research Institute in Hangzhou and Linhai of Zhejiang Province and built up strong capacity to develop complete vehicles, engines, transmissions and automotive electronics. We have invested tens of millions Yuan to establish the only key laboratory of automobile safety technology of Zhejiang Province, which is able to do crash tests based on NCAP regulations for all automobile models under the systems of China and EU. The Geely GC2/GX2, Emgrand 7, and Emgrand 8 independently developed by Geely, received a five-star rating from C-NCAP. Besides, the Emgrand 7 also received a four-star rating from E-NCAP andis China’s first car to achieve such a high evaluation level from an European safety evaluation agency, marking it a milestone in safety technology improvement of the automobile industry of China. In July2012, Emgrand X7, the first SUV of Geely was given a “super five-star” rating with a high score of 50.3 from C-NCAP. It is the first made-in-China car that won such a rating. The Emgrand X7 ranks 4th among 172 cars subject to C-NCAP tests by June 2012, outdoing many cars made by joint ventures. The independently developed 4G18CVVT engine with a power output of 57.2 kW per liter, stands at the advanced level in the world and leading level in China. The independently developed Z automatic transmissions filled the gap in domestic automobile field and won the first prize for progress in automobile science and technology of China. With over 8,000 patents, including over 1,000 invention patents and over 40 international patents, Geely is listed as “Top 10 Brands of Independent Intellectual Property Innovation of Chinese Enterprises” and honored as “corporate technical center” at state level, “post-doctoral workstation”, and “high-tech enterprise”. Geely’s project “Innovative Engineering Construction of Technological System for Strategic Transformation of Geely” won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Awards in 2009 (the first prize was vacant that year). Another project “R&D and Industrialization of Safety Technology of Geely Passenger Cars” won the first prize of Automobile Industrial Science and Technology Awards of China.

Geely has over 18,000 employees, including over 2,300 engineers and technicians, three academicians, hundreds of foreign experts, over 30 registered doctors, over 500 masters, hundreds of senior engineers and researcher-level senior engineers. Geely has invested billions of Yuan to establish universities and colleges such as Beijing Geely University, Hainan University Sanya College, Zhejiang Automotive Vocational and Technician College, and Hunan Geely Auto College, which have enrolled over 40,000 students and provided nearly 10,000 graduates every year to China’s automobile industry and the society.
