Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus Corporation (MFTBC), Japan-based company, a subsidiary of Daimler, is a manufacturer of light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks. The company also manufactures large, medium, and small buses, bus chassis, and industrial engines and operates 5 manufacturing plants in Japan. Company was formed in 2003 by Daimler, Mitsubishi Motors, and other Mitsubishi group companies. Daimler owns 85%, Mitsubishi group remaining 15%.

The Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) and the Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. reached a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in June 2012 on the mutual supply of light-duty trucks in Japan.
